What a lovely day I’ve had. Woke up to some lovely presents; chocolates, jellies (to share with Ava), smellies and these beautiful flowers. Then my lovely husband made me American pancakes with berry coulis. My favourite breakfast!
After my delicious breakfast it was off to swimming lesson with Tom. It’s becoming one of my favourite times of the week. He’s so chilled out in the water and kicks and splashes and gets so excited when he’s going to do a submersion. It’s so good to have some quality time just the two of us. We go to Puddle Ducks and have done since he was six weeks old. I took Ava from the same age and now she’s like a little fish and has so much confidence in the water.

After swimming we had a chilled day at home. Made lunch for my mam & dad and got some jobs done around the house and garden. Can’t wait for the warmer weather when Ava can play outside in her new play area. She will be out there all day!
At tea time we tried Tom with some baby rice for the first time. He was very excited and loved it. Although I’m not sure how much he ate rather than plastered around his face and bib. My baby boy is growing so fast! Hoping it will help to fill him up a little and he can start putting a few more ounces on as he’s only a tiny little dot at the moment.

A perfect Mothers Day after a few busy weeks. Just spent with the people I love most. ♥️
